What is it that my heart calls out for?

I have yet to discover the answer to this never ending question, 

which is like that of the traveler who has walked miles upon

 miles on a desert looking for water...

I have lived but i am not awake

I have slept only to be awakened with many questions

What is it that my soul is searching for which keeps me awake 

during the night and dreaming during the day?
